TAO Profile
The Testing and Admission Office (TAO) helps the University in providing quality excellent, relevant and responsive education. It is in this mandate that the office provides effective testing and admission services designed to support and promote the university’s vision and mission of academic excellence.
The TAO assists students in the discovery, exploration and unveiling of their potentials and make use of such towards holistic, quality and competent based education in all levels and discipline.
Services Offered:
The Testing and Admission Office (TAO) provides effective testing and admission services designed to support and promote the university’s vision and mission of academic excellence. The office provides the following services to students, teachers and non-academic personnel:
A. Information Services
To advertise to the public, the college programs, courses offered, schedule of admission as well as the other services, TAO disseminates information and answers queries regarding testing and admission. It provides a list of requirements and contact details and oral instruction about the step-by-step procedure and requirements. Also, it provides on-line services to clients.
B. Testing Services
To assess the aptitude of incoming student applicants including Pre-Elementary, Elementary, Junior High School, College and Graduate School, TAO administers standardized admission tests appropriate for their academic level. Second year General Engineering and Business Administration students who will be categorized according to their major or specialization also take classification tests administered by TAO. The office also administers psychological tests to individuals referred by guidance counselor or teachers.
C. Admission Services
TAO disseminates and evaluates submitted application form and checks the requirements of applicants. It screens out student applicants who are not qualified and releases notice of passing and admission slip to qualified student applicants.
